An Open-Air Show with AUDREY'S DANCE and IVAN CAMPO in Market Street Social’s beautiful walled garden
Audrey's Dance are a two piece sad-pop band from right here in Preston. They have played with The Blinders, Working Men's Club, LIINES, Witch Fever, Red Rum Club and supported King No-One, Thomas Truax, The Blackheart Orchestra, Amy Studt, Twisted Wheel and Oya Paya and secured a highly prized opening slot at Confessional Festival in 2019.
Their second EP, Fag Ash Lil, was released on 8th January 2021 across all streaming platforms featuring brand new tracks, Internet Queen, Don’t Dream of Me and Fag Ash Lil. The EP was recorded during the pandemic between lockdowns and is highly anticipated following the success of their debut EP, Library Dreams.
Ivan Campo met in Preston whilst studying at UCLan. With their distinct sound of alternative folk, founding members, Adam Shaw, Ben Atha, and Will Rogers were introduced to a wider audience in 2010 when the television series 'Skins' used The Great Procrastinator - taken from the 2009 EP Super 7 - in Episode 1 / Season 4.
The group gathered more attention after Ben Atha was invited to go to Los Angeles in 2016 to play James Bond in the Epic Rap Battles of History YouTube series. Their last album Season of the King secured the band a 4th live session on BBC 6 Music, as well as a special appearance on prime time Spanish TV programme, Late Motiv, performing The Bloodhound and the Fox.
