In 1993 DAVE GARDNER, a Preston based songwriter and musician, was plucked from obscurity to sharing the stage with American songwriter and actor Kris Kristofferson. He’s also shared stages with The Kinks, Michael Chapman, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, John Martyn and Pentangle, amongst others.

Today Dave fronts The Hellfire Preachers. His latest solo project Tales of the Road & The Wilderness book is his debut as a published author.

The book has a soundtrack album of the same name with each song inspired by each chapter in the book.
