BIG BANDS ARE BACK AT THE CONTI

Ron Hayes Big Band was formed in the mid-70s by Ron Bold and Eric Hayes and is now run by leader/drummer Andrew Bold (Ron’s Son)

They draw inspiration from a wide variety of great big bands including Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, Tom Kubis, Gordon Goodwin, etc, as well as more contemporary arrangers and composers such as Pat Metheny, John Clayton and Mark Taylor.

The band features two vocalists Terry Desmond and Don Bell, along with some of the best big band musicians in the North West.

A wonderful way to spend your Sunday afternoon!

Tickets are £10 advance or £12 on the door (under 11s go free with ticket holders) - Doors open at 1.30 for a 2pm band start
