ANOTHER GREAT FREE ENTRY SHOW IN THE SNUG - LAST OF THE SEASON
Greenhorses, a 5-piece Americana Folk band from the North West. Sunshine Americana and road-worn roots - Greenhorses were formed from what started out as West on Colfax but after various line-up changes and the addition of more harmonies, it became a whole different thing - which has prompted a change in name and direction.
Influenced by the Laurel Canyon scene of the 60s and modern Americana of Wilco, REM and Drive by Truckers, with a side order of sea shanty vibes.
Check them out on a live LP from Dec 22 (listen here) and have plans to record a new LP for late summer release on their own Greenhorse Records label, which will feature the extended harmonies and a more acoustic sensibility. They have been getting worldwide airplay on Americana and folk stations from the US to Australia with plenty of supporting stations in the UK.
Greenhorses view the Conti as a second home and will play the Snug unplugged so come ride with Greenhorses.
In the Snug - doors open at 7.30 for an 8pm show start. Entry is free.
Space is limited in the Snug, so get here nice and early if you’d like a seat!
