‘scRibble’ is a creative writing group that meets on the last Monday of every month in the Snug.
It’s free to attend just come with an interest in reading and writing.
Below is a series of five things may be considered at each meeting :-
Poems
Short stories
Flash fiction
Daft limericks
Fantastic new kids’ stories.
The session is open to everyone, from complete beginner to literary pro. In contrast with what you might expect from your school days, ‘Scribble’ offers constructive and useful feedback in order for you to advance in your writing technique.
The other added bonus is that you’ll meet other people who share the same interests as you, so you’ll swap phone numbers and you may receive information about impending local arts and writing events. You may even be the person to organise a culturally based event for the group to go to.
