AT THE CONTI, BLITZ and THE FERRET

A ginormous weekender in Preston that celebrates all strands of indie pop from C86 to the present day, classic jangle-meisters through to scratchy upstarts.

Nightingales, Man from Delmonte, The Tubs, Desperate Journalist, Bradford, The Yummy Fur, Ex-Void, James King and The Lonewolves, The Jasmine Minks, The Room, Yaang, Melys, British Birds, Would Be Goods, David Lance Callahan, Sassyhiya, Moderate Rebels, Karen, The Cords, Dragged Up, National Park, Stuart Pearce, Crumbs, The Muldoons, Autocamper, The Train Set, Tigers and Flies, Big Other, Sweetpool, Brenda, Dragon Welding, Normal Service, Uhr, The Complaint That Creeps, RRRapid Kool, Hartley, Ginnel, Fat Frances, Callis, The Amber List, Vehicle, The Bordellos, Oort Clod, Oh Hippo, Captain Starlet, The Tearless Life.

Over 40 acts across two stages over three days.

Friday and Sunday of the Pop Fest will be at The Continental, a terrific real ale pub on the banks of the River Ribble, with a 180 capacity main room and an 80 capacity second stage in the snug.

On Saturday the Pop Fest hangs out all day at The Ferret in the University quarter plus an extra evening stage at Blitz, by Preston Bus Station, featuring Man From Delmonte, Bradford, Melys and The Train Set, Day tickets are presently only available for the Saturday.

Prestonians can get cheap early bird tickets at £55 for the weekend and £25 for the Saturday from Action Records in Preston with no booking fee.

Everyone else can buy tickets online on the links below, weekend £75, Saturday £30.
