Formed in 1987, this 21-piece big band is a Leeds University Union society and performs public and private functions around Leeds and the West Yorkshire area.
The band frequently perform at prestigious music venues in Leeds, such as the Wardrobe, Hi-fi, and Belgrave Music Hall, as well as making a regular appearance at the Leeds University Union Summer Ball at the end of the year.
They also go on a tour to the South of France every Easter, playing at town halls, restaurants, sports clubs and more.
The classic big-band sound is still going strong, safe in the hands of this exciting ensemble. Expect a wide variety of great music, played to a top shelf standard, with a range of classic to contemporary, burning energy to tasteful subtlety.
Tickets are £10 advance or £12 on the door (under 11s go free with ticket holders) - Doors open at 1.30 for a 2pm band start
