Cold Bath Street & The Dissonance Collective – The GRID System

One-off live mashup with experimental jazz and improv from Cold Bath Street and the Dissonance Collective.

The GRID series are monthly musical improvisations. Hosted by Preston based Cold Bath Street, the sessions this year have seen guests including vowels, Clayton Jackson, Jon Aveyard, members of the Preston People’s Spins and Abrasive Pheasants, Michael Coop, Andrew Daley and Lennon Williams collaborating with the band.

This final concert Is a mashup with The Dissonance Collective. The musicians will work from a GRID system which tells them when to play but not what to play. The aim being produce new and innovative music within the moment.

Recommended if you like: Pink Floyd at their strangest. Weird alternative and creative stuff.

Cold Bath Street acknowledge the support of the Creative Practice Research Academy of the University of Central Lancashire in putting on this event.
