Whats On

Ice Baby by Sarah Miller

Wednesday, 19 July 2017 - 7:30pm

The Ashton Group is 20 years old this year and as part of their celebrations they are re-staging one of the first Apprenticed Actors shows that they produced, ICE BABY by Salford based writer Sarah Miller.

ICE BABY is about a 17 year old mum, her baby, her mates and what happens to them all one freezing winter night when they are visited by Goblins. ICE BABY is about the struggle to be a grown up when you have no role models and no support.

ICE BABY is a funny and fast paced contemporary play inspired by true stories of teenage parents.  ICE BABY bristles with spiky energy, glistens with just a sprinkling of fairy tale magic and is guaranteed to get you talking.

It is suitable for young people over the age of 14 and adults and contains some adult themes

ICE BABY comes to The Continental on Wednesday 19th July 2017. Doors open at 7.30pm for a prompt start.
